Congratulations to Scott McIntosh, Lynker Space’s VP of Space Operations, on being selected for the second time to serve on The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy’s (OSTP) Space Weather Advisory Group (SWAG)!
Scott joins an elite group of space weather experts, and users of space weather forecasts, from the private sector and academia. The SWAG provides critical input to the White House space weather working group to help ensure the U.S. is prepared for and protected against space weather threats.
We are fortunate to have Scott, who recently joined Lynker after serving as Deputy Director of the NSF NCAR – The National Center for Atmospheric Research, leading our effort to transform space weather forecasting for numerous vulnerable sectors.
Lynker has secured a contract from NOAA Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) Uncrewed Systems Operations Center (UxSOC) to support their Uncrewed Marine Systems Division (UMSD). We’ll provide operational, logistical, and training support for NOAA’s DriX uncrewed surface vehicles, vital for hydrographic mapping and fisheries missions.
