Hydroclimatological Science and Analytics
We create forward-thinking solutions to manage, forecast, and control our most valuable natural resource.
We are globally recognized experts in hydrologic modeling, water resource planning, climate change analysis and adaptation, and watershed and coastal management strategies. We take pride in working with our clients and stakeholders to implement forward-thinking scientific research-to-operations solutions for water resource conservation, planning, restoration, and emergency response.
Hydrologic Modeling
Lynker develops hydrological models to analyze, understand, and explore solutions for sustainable water management in order to support decision makers and operational water managers. The application and development of hydrological models are key activities of Lynker. This allows us to increase our knowledge about hydrological processes, and provide sustainable solutions for integrated water resources management based on hydrologic scenario analysis.
Water Resource Planning
Lynker is leading the development and implementation of integrated water resources planning solutions to help our clients manage these kinds of complex environmental challenges, where active management of the built and natural components of the water cycle are key to water sustainability.
Central Resources Allocation Model (CRAM)
Lynker’s proprietary Central Resources Allocation Model (CRAM™) is a water resources simulation tool used to support decisions for short, medium, and long-range planning of raw water supply system. Through an intuitive drag and drop user interface, CRAM simulates all components of the system including reservoirs, water rights, wells, diversions, exchanges and a variety of other components. CRAM provides a more complete understanding water supply and demand as well guidance for how to optimize the use of limited resources and is an ideal tool for decision-makers such as water resources managers, planners, and engineers. The model is currently used by a number of cities, states, and government agencies throughout the United States for water resources modeling and decision-making.
Climate Change Impact & Adaptation
We work with clients to interpret and communicate climate change science. We help develop business cases for risk assessment and adaptation, visualize climate change and provide training and stakeholder engagement. Using straightforward tools and approaches to identify and prioritize risks, we assess climate change impacts for a diverse range of vulnerable communities.
Watershed, River, & Coastal Management
Lynker’s Water Resources professionals incorporate our experience with our respected geomorphology practice to provide watershed planning and stream assessments, water quality and quantity analyses, river restoration, protected area, and coastal environment management. From desktop analysis to field assessments to design and on the ground construction, our technical staff conduct assessments on the existing condition of the watershed that can be included with and incorporated into a comprehensive water quality and quantity model to aid in the identification of restoration opportunities within a watershed and on streams, information can then be used to prioritize restoration activities and restoration design-build projects led by our experienced professionals.
Contracts Vehicles
Lynker is a prime contractor on key multiple-award contracts across the federal government. Our contract vehicle selection includes government-wide and agency-specific contracts, Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contracts, GSA schedules and other prime IDIQs and BPAs.
