Training, Communications, Education, and Outreach

Lynker develops targeted messages and communications, outreach, and education products to reach a wide range of target audiences.

We create and coordinate media and messaging across multiple channels, provide graphic design, manage and update web/social media content and distribution, provide and support scientific technical writing and editing, and support outreach and education efforts for the Federal, state, and local government, industry, and non-government customers. Our professionals communicate with stakeholders to promote missions, provide inputs to scientific foundations behind management decisions, use innovative tools to improve public stewardship, and anticipate/respond proactively to emerging issues.

Graphic Design, Web Content, Social Media, Infographics, Videography, and Print

Lynker provides graphic design and visualization services, develop and distribute web and social media content (fpir.gov, Facebook, Twitter), videography, scientific-technical writing and editing (technical memos and peer-reviewed journals), and outreach and education efforts, for a variety of scientific and resource management topics. Our communications efforts help clients reach thousands of constituents and stakeholders via providing timely information about current events and breaking news in marine, ocean, and coastal science, management success, and many other topics.

Training

Our experts help manage national and international training teams, including training the trainers, workshop development and logistics, trainer preparation, and Federal international travel procedures.

Stakeholder Engagement and Facilitation

Lynker facilitates organizational assessments, surveys, workshops, and other activities that help our customers address internal and external changes that impact mission-delivery, collaboration, and efficiencies. We develop workshops, write papers, prepare curriculum, and create professional networks focused on integrating science into marine planning.

Outreach and Education

Lynker prepares materials for, leads, and supports numerous education and outreach events yearly. We partner with K-12 schools, universities, museums, non-profits, industry, and Federal, state, and local governments to promote STEM-driven programs across the US. Our work includes social media and website content about education and outreach events, event materials and presentations, planning and logistical coordination, and ongoing school and public programs. We proactively recruit and train volunteers to assist in sampling and restoration work, as well as provide docents for education centers.

Lynker is a prime contractor on key multiple-award contracts across the federal government. Our contract vehicle selection includes government-wide and agency-specific contracts, Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contracts, GSA schedules and other prime IDIQs and BPAs.
