“I am delighted to welcome Scott Rayder in our newly created role as President,” said Joe Linza, Lynker’s Founder & CEO. “With a proven track record of driving growth and innovation, Scott is poised to lead Lynker into a new era of success.”
Scott comes to us with over 20 years of leadership and management experience within the environmental community working on issues important to the country and serving in a variety of positions integrating research and operations activities. Most recently he served as vice president of Leidos leading a team of experts providing operations and services for climate, energy, and environment; projects addressing global challenges and opportunities. Prior positions include serving as the first chief of staff at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) from 2001 – 2008 as well as the chair of the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System Federal Advisory Committee. Scott was also the executive director of the Alabama Water Institute and led the team that won the largest award in its nearly 200-year history. NOAA named University of Alabama as the recipient of a $360M grant to form the Cooperative Institute for Research to Operations in Hydrology, or CIROH.
